Current site behavior
Glow & Gauge does not load AdSense, a newsletter tracker, a social pixel, or a client-side analytics SDK. It does not use local storage to save tool history or room plans.
The hosting and security layer may use strictly necessary mechanisms to deliver traffic, mitigate abuse, or maintain network integrity. Those mechanisms are controlled by the service provider and are not used by Glow & Gauge to build a marketing profile.
Why there is no decorative banner
A consent banner should represent real choices, not create the appearance of privacy while nothing optional is running. Since the launch configuration has no optional cookie category, the site does not interrupt every reader with an empty accept button.
If optional processing is added, an appropriate consent interface will appear before that processing where required, with reject and manage choices that actually work.
Advertising gate
Google advertising remains disabled until the site has real approval and identifiers, authorized seller information, updated disclosures, and a Google-certified consent management platform for applicable regions.
